Carenado has again managed to provide a well-used - almost run-down - look for its beautiful Cessna C182. Considering the condition of a 1970s C182P Skylane on my local airfield, I think an old plane doesn't need to look as neglected as the one Carenado depicts: scratches, dirt, worn out carpet, cracked leather ... In fact even our 51-year old rental C172 doesn't look as bad inside.
So like with my Arrows, Warrior, Seminole and Mooney before, I grabbed my cleaning kit, got some new leather for the seats and side panels and got cracking.
After a whole day of relentless work both interiors (grey with black panel and brown with tan panel) are now completely refurbished and the aircraft interior almost looks like new.
Of course many parts like the knobs, switches, door handles and yokes are still the old ones. Even the best refurbishing job won't give you a new aircraft.
And one more thing: I'm afraid the wood didn't survive the procedure, and I had grey replacements installed instead. Sorry about that ;-)
You have a two choices for the leather on the seats and side panels:
1. standard stitches in the same colour as the seats
2. offset stitches in light grey or light beige.
Installation:
Just drag and drop ONE of the included folders into your Community folder.
This mod will replace the interiors of all default liveries and many 3rd party liveries that do not come with their own interiors.
Best wishes

Thank you this is great, could you also change the window tint back to normal instead of the default Carenado blue/greenish?

Root wood is so named because it belongs in the ground. As always great work. Thank you.
