With 2023 State of Origin football coming fast, we thought it might be of interest for Queensland (Australia) supporters to have a livery which features the maroons colours, the city of Brisbane silhouette, a Qld indigenous artist, and one of their approved works. The payware HJet seemed a great aircraft on which these elements might be combined!
The artwork of Chern'ee Sutton is beautiful, supporting the concepts of reconciliation and inclusion, and we were very glad to have her approval to be a part of this project. Chern'ee comes originally from the Mt Isa area in remote North Queensland, but now lives in the coastal city of Bundaberg, closer to the state capital, Brisbane. The livery includes an acknowledgement of her as artist, along with the URL for her web page. We would encourage members to explore her art, and read about the concepts behind it.
This livery is also available (and pictured here) for the default Cessna Longitude, for those who do not own the Hjet.
