Jackson Hole Regional Airport is located in Grand Teton National Park and is the only commercially serviced airport in a national park. Many planes fly into Jackson Hole with its 6,300ft runway including the A320, A319, B737, B752, E75L, CRJ7, and almost every private jet you can think of. Good luck getting anything bigger than a 757 in and out of there!
Odogs Jackson Hole is the most accurate and up-to-date Jackson Hole scenery that is available for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
Odogs Jackon Hole Airport includes:
- Detailed buildings with HD textures
- Current real-world gate numbers and locations
- The new main terminal renovations and redone outside materials
- Newly added buildings to the airport environment
- Color-corrected ground materials
- The new De-Ice ramp and ground markings
- And much more for you to find on your own!
My mission is to give everyone an opportunity to experience the beauty of flight simulation together.

Hey ODogg I think with the new gsx update today you could potentially animate the ramp stairs to work!

Thanks for the tip! I'll do some investigating.

It's a really great airport, good job on making it look so good!
However, the 5.5 GB size is a bit lot to handle. Is there any way you could maybe optimize it somehow? I know mkvy was able to cut down 50% of his Gatwick airport from 5 GB to 2,5 GB.

Thank you so much! I am slowly working through an update that will reduce the file size. Unfortunately, other projects have taken precedence but I am still working on it.

For some reason it’s not showing up in my game, any ideas?

hmmm. Make sure you unzip the download folder and then take the "odog-odogs-jackson-hole" folder out of the download folder and place it into your community folder. The file structure should be: Community\odog-odogs-jackson-hole

Excellent - BUT - What's the .INI file for?????
Hi trking,
The .ini file is the GSX profile. If you do not use GSX or do not want to use that profile then you can disregard it.

I purchased the AXANOS version last year, and it had it's issues. There was no developer support at all. This version is the most accurate, with correct layout and features. Even the taxiway textures are a lot more realistic with this version! It's outstanding! I actually removed the AXANOS version, and installed your version. Great work!

Thank you so much! I am so glad you enjoy using my scenery! There hasn't been an update in a while since I am working on a nearby airport (it's much larger) but there has been another small renovation to the main terminal that I plan to incorporate. Enjoy flying in!

Looks great, but I thought the terminal was brown, not black. Every picture I’ve ever seen of it has brown wood.

The terminal was brown. After a lot of remodeling over the past years, they have completely changed the color to black. Take a look at any recent YouTube video.

Very nice work, thanks a lot! A great place to fly!
But... the file size is insane ^^
Why is this so huge?
Could it not be reduced in file size with pretty much the same quality?
Also, the airport is pretty laggy... meaning the performance of the sim drops a lot.
Would be amazing if you could optimized for better performance and maybe also smaller file size. Probably goes hand in hand.

Thanks for the review! I understand how taxing this scenery is due to all of the small details I use on the models. I have been slowly working on re-doing some buildings to remove some of that excess detail and reducing some texturing sizing. That is why the file is SOOOOOO big - a LOT of objects with their own texturing.
I am actually working on another airport as well which does require a lot of optimization so I hope to learn a lot from that.

okay yes this is cool
but how do I remove the ground vehicles if I don't own gsx?
If you do not own GSX then the ground vehicles are controlled by Microsoft Flight Simulator. Unfortunately, there is no way for me to edit or change where those vehicles spawn around the ramp. If that feature is ever added to the SDK I will most definitely change it.

Fabulous, I can't wrap my mind around this being freeware!
How does this compare to the Axonos KJAC? I can't see much of a difference myself. This is very epic!
Thank you so much for the kind words! A few major differences are that my scenery includes the new terminal - which has the black coloring - whereas Axonos has the old terminal which was last used around 2017. Axonos has the wrong gate numbers, out-of-date runway textures, and the old de-ice ramp which is much different. For example, in real life, the gate numbers are 9-1B going from left to right looking at the terminal - which is depicted in my scenery. The Axonos scenery only goes 1-9 in the opposite way which is wrong. There are a ton of smaller differences in real-world details that I have added and Axonos has left out. Most of the buildings in my scenery are true to real life where axonos are running buildings that were removed 5 years ago.
