Excellent job! The Import works without a problem in a few seconds.

I have all your previous files installed in LNM and have a question on this update...do I need to install the POI file or just the New Zealand file?
Thanks,
Garry

I recommend to install the new pack again. The file with photogrammetry cities was also updated. Check the changelog to see what is new or updated.

Thank you very much for the updated New Zealand (World Update 12) POIs (btw there is a little typo in the extracted file: World_Update_12_New_Zeland.csv -> New Zealand 😉)
I made some noise for your POI database over here, as my addon is able to import Little Navmap userpoint CSV files, too:
https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/sky-dolly-v0-16-free-flight-recorder-replay-location-management/405367/76
I hope that is okay 😉
Rysatko 1 month(s) ago
I have absolutely no problem with that. I like that you were able to utilize this in such a way. Thanks for noting about the typo, I will correct it in the next version 😉

This addon is really convenient! I hope to see the New Zealand POIs being added soon (and I understand that the CSV depends on some other data source, as indicated in the description. So we may have to wait for that data source to be updated first).
Update: https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1KUg5jwyT_9k2A9n5IZ99UChlhfVUfO5S&ll=-3.81666561775622e-14%2C34.777393240969104&z=1 does seem to have POIs and airports in NZ now 😉

Hi Steeler. I am glad you like my work. I have to sort out some personal stuff so the WU12 will be a bit delayed. Expect it in about 1-2 weeks.

No worries, do what‘s important in life first! 😊

A great addition to the LNM 😊 When can the update to WU12 be expected?
Rysatko 3 month(s) ago
Currently I am solving some personal issues. Expect the WU12 in about 1-2 weeks.

Thanks for the update!

This makes it significantly easier to find POIs. I hope you continue to provide updates.
Thank you!

Thanks for this! Could you please add Animal/Wildlife POIs? Thanks!
triflyman
Think I made a mistake in loading these updates...in the past I just loaded the entire file and now I find that when I click on a POI on LNM it lists the POI three times. Makes me think that I have three entries in LNM for the same POI. Would like to delete the duplicates but can't find anything in the LNM manual about how to do that. Can anyone help?
Thanks
Garry

At the top of the menu under Userpoints, click 'Clear Database'. Next, reimport your CSV files.

In Little navmap there is a setting 'force map to show addon airports' which gives detailed airports a yellow ring. Does your database affect this setting? The yellow rings do not appear for new detailed Canada airports (and other detailed airports).
Update: Problem Solved. My little nav map scenery library hadn't updated in over a year and somehow lost where msfs files were located. So reset and reloaded scenery library and all the yellow ringed Canadian airports appeared.

Totally appreciate your hard work on this. So useful.

Always love this database, makes it so much easier to find the sights to see in each new update. With respect to WU10, it appears that many of the POIs in central Washington DC are miles to the west of the city. Generally, it appears that you shifted the decimal in the minutes one place to the right for these POIs. For example, the Smithsonian Arts + Industries Bldg in v1.61 is at 77d 14.68m ; it should be 77d 1.468m. Shift the decimal one place to the left in the minutes of longitude for the following:
U.S. Botanic Garden
Ulysses S. Grant Memorial
National Museum of the American Indian
National Gallery of Art - East Building
National Gallery of Art
Hirschhorn Museum
Smithsonian Arts + Industries Bldg
Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History
Smithsonian Castle Information Center
National Museum of Asian Art
Smithsonian National Museum of American History
U.S. Department of Agriculture Patio
National Museum of African American History and Culture
Thomas Jefferson Memorial
World War II Memorial
Arlington Memorial Bridge
Washington National Cathedral
US Marine Corps War Memorial

That is strange. The position is generated by Google Earth to .kmz file and then converted to .xml by online tool. I will check it and do the correction.

What a cool little thing this is! Thank you for doing this! Super handy.

I just imported the "Update 10" POIs to LNM. I noticed that the "George Washington's Mount Vernon" POI's GPS coordinates are wrong. They should be
38° 42' 29.40" N 77° 5' 11.16" W
triflyman
Thank you for this...makes it much easier to find a POI I want to see. Is there any way to make the POI's use the POI symbol (a yellow star) instead of being listed as "Buildings"
Thanks,
Garry

You can "group edit" multiple Userpoints and change or add a given field or setting for all of those at one time. In the Userpoint list, select the UPs you want to change, right click, Edit Userpoints. Then, check the box to the right of "Type:" and select the Type you want from the drop-down list. Click OK and you're done.

Hi.
I am planning a tour and I have noticed some discrepancies respect to the MSFS World Map:
Isola Bella's POI is in the wrong position. Correct coordinates are 45° 53' 43,27" N 8° 31' 37,34" E
- Is scored Lago San Giustina but the POI is the dam a little further south 46° 20' 45,31" N 11° 3' 40,92"
-Castello San Michele is in Wrong position. Correct is: 46° 46' 19,98" N 11° 53' 31,88" E
-Bigo is Missing 44° 24' 31,88" N 8° 55' 35,67" E
- Church of Saint Mary 'della Pieta' is in wrong position Correct: 42° 19' 47,42" N 13° 41' 15,45" E, Close to Rocca Calascio
-Castello Aragonese d'Ischia not exist in the world Update 9. Aragonese Castle is in the same place of Isola Capo Rizzuto POI
-Basilica Papale San Paolo fuori le mura does not exist in World Update 9 but Cathedral St. Pawl (Malta) is Missimg (35° 53' 10,95" N 14° 24' 14,07" E) this is probably where it goes.

Hi. Thanks for noting this. As written in the description, this database is only converted data from online map. After each update I only randomly check few places just to know if the POIs are correctly loaded. I will try to spare some time to correct it according to your notes 😉

Love your work, just a question ^^
Do you plan to update it for WU9 ?
Thank you

I'm waiting for an update with Spain and Portugal, etc.
I hope you can make it very soon. Thank you.

I find these POI's really handy any chance of an update for wu8?

This is a fantastic contribution to the community. I don't suppose you have Orbx GB Central or any Orbx region packs and are able to make a little nav map CSV from those? I'll have a go myself if not.
Rysatko 1 year(s) ago
Sorry, I missed your comment. All I need is data that I can convert to CSV. Google Maps is perfect, because you can generate .kmz file that can be converted online and then edited. I am not doing this myself, the only thing I do is converting from links mentioned in the description. The main job is on those who create the databases.

Thanks for the reply - I'll see what i can do
