THIS APPLICATION IS DEPRECATED AND DO NOT WORK!!!
*****************************************************************************
If you want you can download the source code and give it a try to see if it can be salvaged: https://github.com/AndersHogqvist/PersistentCRJ
Are you tired of doing the origin check just to find that everything is in the correct state? Would you like to climb in to the cockpit and find it just as you left it? Or why not roll the dize and pretend that someone let a bunch of kids loose in the cockpit?
PersistentCRJ is an app that saves the state of just about every switch and knob as well as spoilers, flaps, thrust levers, arm rests, wheel chocks etc. You can either save it manually or let the app save it automatically with a certain interval.
New in 3.2
- Removed some controlls that was causing issues
- Removed Connect button since it's not necessary
- Autosave now saves to disk directly
- Fixed a bug that caused the installation to fail if the FSUIPC module wasn't installed
Install instructions
1. Just double-click PersistentCRJInstaller.msi and follow the instructions
Usage
Start MSFS and load the CRJ. There are two ways to save the cockpit state:
- Manually by pressing "Save from file"
- Automatically by pressing "Auto save". The state will be saved whenever you flip a switch or turn a knob.
To load a saved state, press "Load from file".
And if you wanna go bananas, press "Randomize" :-)
Important message
This will be the last update. There are still some issues, i.e. the values that I get from the sim do not always match the state I'm seeing in the sim. I have no clue how to fix that but the source code is now available on github so feel free to try and fix it if you want :-)

0/5 as not only this thing does not work anymore and is now officially abandonware and should be removed from the site, it is even a HUGE pain in the ... to simply uninstall. The autouninstaller would throw random errors and I had to spend half an hour manually cleaning up registry entries and whatnot to remove of the keys and dependencies of this addon. Do not even attempt to try installing it.

Doesn't look like this works anymore? I'm launching MSFS, loading CRJ, launching FSUIPC, yet PersistentCRJ remains at Not Connected state.

I haven't touched this for a couple of years so I'm not surprised it's borked. The source code can be found on GitHub so your free to give it a try 🙂

Same issue here. I had to back up the entire registry and then painfully remove it from a gazillion places in registry. Super fail.

Thank you 😊
Hopefully we'll have something like this for the A320 in the future.

Actually I think you can use this with the A320 already. Just replace the LVars in the lvars.ini file with the ones you want to save in the A330 and it should work. I haven't tried it, but I can't see why it shouldn't 🙂
