Check the Google Map with markers to see which airports are already included.
I'm proud to announce that as of today (2021.05.08) the collection contains contributions made by the very talented and detail loving developer & friend edpatino (profile link) from Miami, U. S. A.
He his publishing his mods separately too, just search flightsim.to for edpatino.
On the Google Map & on the external website his mods are marked blue.
As of today (2021.05.11) the collection contains contributions made by jimblueaero (profile link) from Oklahoma, U. S. A.
He his publishing his mods separately too, just search flightsim.to for jimblueaero.
He is working with the Airport Design Editor (ADE), focusing mainly on American midsize cities which were incorrectly laid out or neglected by default scenery using AFCAD and Google Maps to update and align to real-world data.
On the Google Map & on the external website his mods are marked orange.
We have to raise the (quality) bar a bit.
All mods will work perfectly with the MSFS Basic version but it is recommended to have the MSFS Premium version installed to ensure that all included objects appear in your sim. Other versions (Standard and Deluxe) will work, but some items may not appear.
Do not forget to check the dependencies. You must have them installed to get the full experience. It is highly recommended to have all free World updates installed.
Additionally to assets on flightsim.to you should download these static planes: www.jpfil.com/quebec-fs2020/scenes/Collection-avions.zip
Whenever an update is published you can overwrite all the files in your current folder, nothing will be lost, just more airports will be added to your collection.
Yes it will, and because the mod typically ships with buildings, facilities and technical installations as well as lights, you should stay with the payware airport, unless you're a fan of total chaos.
You should take some VFR lessons for sure, but NO, with a few exceptions all airports have RNAV or ILS based approaches.
Make sure, that the folder containg the two files layout.json & manifest.json is placed in your community folder.
Keep in mind, that using an Addon Linker (available @flightsim.to) gives you much more flexibility.
No, it's just a recommendation to keep your mods in order.
No, the Standard Edition is sufficient, as everything was build with assets from the Standard Edtition. Additionally some free community assets are necessary, check the dependencies.
No, everything was build with assets from the Standard Edtition. Missing buildings have been replaced with default objects that fit the size and the look alike.

No, it's not a must, it's just a recommendation to manage your growing collection of mods when using an addon linker. This way you can easily activate or deactivate a complete region.
The airport folder for the community folder is the one with the 2 json files (layout & manifest). You can even rename this folder.
But you should not never rename the folder "scenery".
If you open the layout.json with a text editor you will see, that there is a given path to the folder "scenery": "path": "scenery/scenery.bgl".
If you rename the folder "scenery" the mod won't work anymore.
Pittig leeg hier.
