In 990 Sigeric the Serious, Archbishop of Canterbury travelled to Rome in order to receive his Pallium from the Pope. He walked about 20 kilometer a day and reached Rome after 79 days and almost 1700 kilometer. His return trip was somewhat special. Sigeric made an itinerary of the roads he walked and the places he visited. This itineray was found in 1985. It shows the existence of an ancient pilgrims route from North Europe to at least Rome, but probably to Jerusalem.

Sigeric however only went to Rome and back.

I had a lot of fun finding airfields close to the route of Segeric.

The Bush Trip was made with LittleNavMap and compiled with the BushTripInjector.

Trip is 18 legs and takes about 9 hours to fly.

Have fun and enjoy.
