I have lowered the thrust by about 8% to be more realistic to the actual A330-300. I have also taken the specs of an A330 for the fuel capacities of each tank. You can now load ~235,000lbs of fuel. (Note: The A333 was originally built with an unsealed and unused center tank; the A332 has a sealed and usable center tank. This mod includes use of the center tank.)

Additionally, I have adjusted the fuel burn to the A330 specs. I am not sure if this will translate to a realistic flight but the thrust is still okay and the fuel seems to be burning at a realistic rate per hour (about 1800lbs per hour per engine at idle and between 5900lbs to 6700lbs per engine per hour at high-max thrust). Cruising at 31,000ft at Mach .82 with a heavy load is burning a little over 4000lbs of fuel per hour per engine which doesn't seem quite right so I will play with it and update it.

The overspeed has been raised to Mach 0.86 and the cruise speed has been changed from the A320's 0.78 to the A330's 0.82 cruise mach.

These are the engines.cfg and flight_model.cfg files for the A330. Enjoy :)

How to install:

Find your A330 folder. Mine is in the official folder instead of the community folder. Browse to your local files and click

Microsoft Flight Simulator>Packages>Official>A330-300>SimObjects>AIRPLANES>Airbus_A330_300TR and then drag and drop the new files.

When doing this, you should receive a prompt to "replace existing files in destination". You can save the old ones somewhere else to back them up if you need to.

If you would like to support my work, I appreciate it! If you can't, that's okay too :)
