Previously RAF Old Buckenham, 12 miles Southwest of Norwich.
Built in 1942 for the USAAF 2nd Bombardment Division.
Runway 25 is a much shortened section of the original 2,000yd long main runway. Segments of it are still visible at the Eastern end, covered by various farm buildings and materials.
I've removed most of the inappropriate autogen buildings and replaced them with better scenery objects, though I've tried to keep to standard Library objects, so some are a compromise. If I can get into Blender, I'll have a go at getting them exact.
I've also added Tacolneston TV mast as it is quite close to the 25 approach.
Great recreation of "Old Buck",
Just wondering if you take requests on builds.
If so I would love to see an "East Kirkby" Scenery addon for the flight sim, I've been looking to find one for ages but there is just none. Thank you for the addon and I hope to see more great addons like this soon.

Thanks for the kind feedback.
I've so far only created two airfields in MsFS so far because I'd flown from both in real life, (in the right-hand seat), so I was quite familiar with them and was keen to make them more realistic in the Sim than the generic autogen.

Really good rendition of Old Buck (as it is my home airfield). A couple of points tho:
The displaced threshold for Rwy 25 has been removed now and the numbers are at the start of the runway (so necessary to enter on the 25 taxiway and backtrack to get to start of the runway).
Also the Tacolneston Mast - the version in Puffin Flight's We Love VFR is more realistic - better colouring and correct height - having both this scenery and We Love VFR is adding both masts just on top of each other (slightly next to each other). As there a way to add an exclude to your scenery to remove it?

Thanks for the positive feedback Baloo. I haven't flown from there since 2005, so I confess I was using Google Earth and Internet search images to place the buildings and other statics (quite different since I was last there). I had to compromise quite a bit on specific items, (like Tacolneston) in order to prevent the need for users to download additional external libraries. I can understand your wish to not have the mast doubled up when using the other scenery package. I believe the only way that I could enable it to be excluded would be to either remove it completely or provide two separate addons on Flightsim.to, one with it and one without. I'll look into that. I'll also try loading the other addon and see if I can adjust mine to align it precisely with theirs, as they probably have the height more accurate than my calculations.

Excellent makeover - definitely feels like Old Buck! Didn't get the Tacolneston mast though... Can usually see that from Tibenham!

Thanks Paul.
Yes, I'm still tinkering with the mast at Tacolneston. I found a reasonably similar design guyed mast in the standard sim libraries, but getting the height right is a bit more tricky. According to my searches, the latest height of it is 676ft, and it's 229ft above sea level, so when I fly over it and just miss the top it should be 905ft msl.
I think it's actually showing at about 1000ft at the moment.
I'm certainly interested in how visible it should be in reality. It's tricky with the flight sim though, because there's also the vague factors of screen resolution with such a thin object, plus the sim only draws detail at a certain distance/size (AFAIK).
