* Follow this Mod. I regularly tweak the checklist each time I have a new idea.
This is much more than a checklist. This is a checklist with embedded audio for an immersive experience and driven by VoiceAttack.
*** Version 4.0 VA ***
Version 4.0 VA is driven by VoiceAttack commands and uses Microsoft Speak for readbacks as if the First Officer is going you through the checklist.
* English-only embedded audio. Sorry! I am an anglophone.
EMBEDDED AUDIO

Close door announcement
Pushback announcement
Taxi alert

Tug Sounds:
* Note: Tug sounds are synced with FS2Crew Pushback. The sounds may not sync the same as other pushback methods. or tools. However, learning the timing of the sounds helps as you know the tool. Regardless of the push-back method, I think the sounds are nice even if a little out of sync with the action.
Startup and connection to the aircraft.
Pushback Sound (Engine rev up during pushback)
End of pushback sounds (Rev down to idle then Rev up to depart)
Night view friendly.
A PMDG 737-700 Checklist is a work in progress. I am always making improvements.
• I understand that the sequence of events on this checklist may differ from the sequence of events you may already use. Modifying the checklist is relatively simple with basic Excel knowledge.
*** MACROS ***
This Checklist uses basic Macros created in (VBA) Visual Basic for Applications. The Macros are relative to Excel functions only. If you have concerns, add the Developer Tab to your Ribbon and view the Macro contents.
*** ABSOLUTES ***
You will need Microsoft Excel or office to use these Checklists. This sheet was built on Excel 2016.You DO NOT need Office 365 for the checklist to work. You can get Excel 2016 as a stand-alone program. Perhaps the checklist will function on an older than the 2016 version of Excel.
Caution*Inserting or deleting rows will adversely affect the macros that create the checklist flow and cell formatting.
Caution* The PMDG 737-700 Checklist 4.0 VA has simple calculation cells in the body of the worksheet. Stay in your lane and avoid wandering around the sheet. Calculations for estimated gross weight for the approach and the cargo for a balanced load. Along with V2 speed plus 10 knots. Also, specific calculations change the format from entries to MCP-friendly entries. You can hover over the cells and see which cells have simple formulas to avoid typing over.
Enjoy!
Gorgeous mod! Thought to give it a try while flying in VR. Unfortunately, this is not possible, because both programs (msfs2020 and Excel) must both be in the foreground in order to work properly. For example, if Excel is in the foreground, it will detect all voice commands, but then msfs2020 will not be operable and vice versa.
Nevertheless, it is definitely worth 5 stars. Must have been a hell of a job to get it the way it is now…. 👍🙏

Thanks, friend. Yes, it was a lot of work and has been updated significantly since the last upload here. You are correct. I run the checklist on a second monitor. I don't think it is possible on a single monitor. In addition, every time MSFS updates, the screen name changes, and VoiceAttack commands have to be updated to shift to the MSFS screen. It's fairly complicated, unfortunately. My intentions were good but I can see how this may be complicated for somebody that does not know the tool from nuts to bolts. I have contemplated learning .NET and making this into a desktop mod but I am having trouble finding the motivation. Happy flying. :)

Would it be possible to merge it with Google sheets?
Edit: I am going to try to import it into Google sheets and see if it will work that way.
EDIT: I tried in Google Sheets as well as Trio Office and no luck. It's a shame, because I think this is a great learning tool for the PMDG 737 and it needs some love. Unfortunately, you have to use it with Excel which you have to pay a yearly subscription for Office 365. It may work with Trio for the paid version ($20) though because even though it loads up in Trio Calc, none of the buttons are activated (just the comments and images). If anybody out there has the paid version of Trio Calc, it might work, but I don't have the full version to test it.

Man, I am sorry about that. Excel is the program I know a lot about because I was an Excel guru at my real job. The Checklist is only getting better. I added even more sounds tonight and getting ready to test it out. I spent 16 hours today editing sound for the experience. I know this is not a lot of help but I use Office 2016 that I purchased with a PC and I have continued to move Office to each new PC. Office 2016 is a one-time fee although it may be worth it. I am not sure how the checklist will react on a version of Excel prior to 2016. I still use all Office tools even though I am retired. I wish I knew how to program in something else. I would convert the sheet because I know Excel will limit the people that will grab the tool.
Thanks for the kind words.

so the only way to use this free app is you have a paid subscription to excel or office?

Well, it only works in Excel. I would build it in another format if I had the skill. Excel is a tool I am fairly good with. I have Office 2016 and I only paid once. I just checked and older versions of Office are still for sale for a one-time fee. If I am not mistaken this Office version came with a PC I once purchased. I used Excel for work so I purchased Office with a new PC back several years ago. I am not sure how the sheet would function with older versions than 2016. The newest is Office 365 which is a prescription-based service, unfortunately. Good luck.
