Welcome to the Lighthouses for BC, (British Columbia), Canada, scenery project by Return to Misty Moorings (RTMM).
For the most part, lighthouses are not modelled in the default MSFS simulator; hence this project was undertaken by designers at Return to Misty Moorings (RTMM) to create and populate the missing lighthouses for BC for this simulator. The BC lighthouses, their latitude/longitude locations were confirmed and add-on scenery was created as best as possible according to the appearance of the real lighthouse at that location.
Each lighthouse has also been assigned a unique ICAO for our flight simulation purposes. They are all recognized as identifiable airport locations in the MSFS simulator, LittleNavMap, Plan G and as well are identifiable in RTMM's Misty Flying Club Virtual Airline.
With the creation of the lighthouses and induction into the sim and mapping program, alike sea plane bases, a refreshed avenue of bush flying with water moorings is introduced into this sim.
The flightplan for this BC lighthouse trip visits 49 lighthouse locations in BC. The trip is 1251 nautical miles (1439.6 miles), (2316.8 km), so it might take a few outings to travel to all of the lighthouses in this trip but again, each lighthouse has an identifiable ICAO so easy to pickup where you left off.
All of these newly created non-fictional lighthouses have water moorings so bring an amphibian. For helicopter pilots out there, most of these lighthouses have helipads or spots to set down close to the lighthouses.

This download consists of the lighthouse flight plan, map and lighthouse index. The flight departs from Victoria International Airport (CYYJ). Victoria is the capital city of British Columbia so it is fitting that we start and eventually end this forty-nine BC lighthouse journey from this location. On departure CYYJ from the onset, as reflected in the included flight plan and map, we travel in a counter clockwise direction visiting each of the lighthouses and will eventually cover all of them before returning to Victoria International.
The scenery piece for the Lighthouses for BC by RTMM, further documentation, the supporting RTMM object libraries that are required, and gammit of other scenery downloads such as SPB, Cabins, Dockages, Lodges as well as liveries, ai boats, a full forum etc, (All of it freeware), can be found on the RTMM Site:
Return to Misty Moorings: https://return.mistymoorings.com/z20_homepage/index.php
The purpose of the RTMM site is to offer FREEWARE to flight simmers giving them a wide variety of scenery locations to explore throughout Alaska, Western Canada and vicinity.
This is Bush flying at it's best.

Thank you Norm! I installed everything in P3D and miss it a lot. I hope this is only the start of bringing RTMM back even better than ever!

Well there are now over 200 USFS cabins locations, 66 lighthouses, 25 seaplane bases and several "stand-alone" scenery actual locations. All of our locations are "REAL" except one which is Misty's Place the RTMM HQ. The rest are/will fall into the "real entry" policy: nothing fictitious. The locations are either missing in MSFS or enhancements to MSFS.

Being a Victoria BC resident and enjoying bush flying in MSFS I would like to acquire this new BC Lighthouse MOD.
I am confused on how to get it or what site to go to - please help.

The flight is hosted here. The supporting libs are too large to host here but are hosted at RTMM. LINK https://return.mistymoorings.com/z20_homepage/index.php. All sceneries (and more), are mostly for Alaska and this one for BC are freeware (Alaska and BC and vicinity is our primary operating area: Bush flying). (We are planning on doing the lighthouses for Alaska next). Just go to the scenery page and you can see/download all the various scenery pieces and libs etc. Hope this helps. Norm

Update: Now that I've been to the MSFS download page and have seen the great selection of Alaskan sites, docks and airports (not to mention the lighthouses), I'm blown away! Many thanks for sharing!
Why direct an MSFS crowd to your website when it doesn't appear to offer MSFS downloads? All I see are downloads for various versions of FSX and Prepare3D. If there is a MSFS specific page, I recommend giving us that link (by the way, your links in the zip file don't work). Looks like you've created a cool world to fly in.

Yes sir but there is lots of MSFS material. We have been doing RTMM for MSFS for a few months. There is lots of MSFS scenery done now for Alaska and now the lighthouses for BC. The supporting libs etc are way too big to fit here but all is set up at RTMM and has been for a while. In addition to scenery pieces for MSFS there is also liveries, AI traffic, ships etc.
Here is the MSFS2020 Home Page: Link: https://return.mistymoorings.com/z20_scenery/index.php
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to inquire here or on the RTMM site (there is a full forum at RTMM).
