I created Hiroshima Airport (1993), which was the most unique airport in Japan.
Around 1989, the toll tax was abolished in Japan, and the fares for flights between Tokyo and Hiroshima became cheaper than first-class railroad fares, and the demand for flights between Hiroshima and Tokyo increased.
Despite the runway being only 1,800 meters long, air demand could not keep up with demand, so large planes such as A300s and B767s, which exceeded airport restrictions, were deployed between Hiroshima-Tokyo.(and hirosima- Naha, and Sapporo too.)
The apron at Hiroshima Airport is extremely small and has a structure in which three jets are forced into it.
The RWY22 landing while circling the mountains of Hiroshima city was very thrilling.
In 1993, New-Hiroshima Airport was opened on top of the mountain, and old airport changed the name to "Hiroshima Nishi" and survived as an airport for short distances.
However, there was a plan to build an expressway south of the river, and raising the road would shorten the runway by 340m, so there was debate as to whether a tunnel would be used to keep the airport alive. In the end, the plan to make the road elevated was adopted,
Hiroshima Airport was downgraded to heliport in 2011.
I removed the highway that got in the way of this scenery and replaced it with a tunnel.
Ver1.3 2022/11/30 (10.2MB)
・I changed JETWAY from default to custom.
・I made it so that when the AI lands, it goes to the GATE (When the AI landing , JETWAY automatically appears)
Many other fixes.
This scenery has no dependencies. Works alone.

Used version 1.2 of your scenery and added my homemade VOR approach to perform a circle to land video starring your airport.

Not sure if liners we're also performing circle-to-land here ?
Very beautiful work and many thanks as I like so much to fly closed airports. It helps to learn many things about the place and why they close airports.

Great little airport! Would be nice if it had a plug/star symbol, as its rather hard to find otherwise

Thank you for your valuable opinion.
What is a plug / star symbol?
I looked it up, but I don't understand the meaning.
I don't understand English, so I use translation software.

Thanks for making this version available also. This brings back real old memories. I remember the first scheduled international flight in 1991: Hiroshima - Seoul with Asiana. The jetways were added years earlier when the departure lobby was completely renovated. It was a nice little airport, very friendly and great ground staff. I first used the airport in 1985 flying to Kagoshima on a YS-11, and used it many times after flying on different aircraft 767, YS-11, Saab 340, Cessna 172.

Here's a link of a video I made of my last flight in a Cessna 172 from Hiroshima-Nishi.

良いです。とても良いです。
駐機場にある4つの固定セスナを好みで配置/撤去できるようファイルを分けていただけると更に助かります。

Although Hiroshima-Nishi (RJBH) closed in 2011 it is still in operation today, however, it has been relegated to a heliport.

Excellent job on the modeling of the terminal. Quite accurate. I'm very familiar with the airport having used it many times for private and commercial flights when it was still active. Thanks for making it available. Brings back nice memories.

Thank you. I don't know much, so I made some of them by imagination with reference to the photos.

Wow! Really great work! Love your airport. (Small typo on the building; "arival" is spelled "arrival"

I spent a year in Japan/Okinawa. Japanese signs in English are notorious for misspelled words. I've read many of these misspelled signs so this may actually be misspelled on the real airport?
