Thanks for checking out this one.
Fictional livery for the Ryan STA Special for MSFS loosely based on Italian planes from 1920-1930s, like Breda 33/39
I did it for my personal use, but decided to share with the comunity.
This is my fourth livery ever, done in Gimp/paint.net, so there are some drawbacks but it runs nice on my PC.
I would like to thank Jan Kees Blom for his help and explanaition how different reflections work ! Without that this livery would not have happened.
Usage : just drop it into your community folder.
Use on Your own risk !
This is the Ryan livery I like the most. Though fictional, the Italian livery it is very appropriate.
Look at the aircraft in Futurismo paintings and you see many STA like ones. I like the combination of chrome and paint, also the logo on the right side of the engine cover.
I quote Giordano Bruno: «Se non è vero, è ben trovato». In fact, molto ben trovato! 😉 Thanks for sharing your effort with us!

Really nice paint job! Feels very appropriate for the period. Thank you for sharing! I'll be using it for my VFR flights over Italy.

Sorry ! Our Mistake. As this wasn't a Review we had not intended to Star rate this lovely Paint Job. Please excuse our MisClick and needless to say it definitely deserves 7 Stars.

Did you mess up your rating? You said "fine work" and rated this nice paint a half-star...

The Italian livery of that period should have the white cross of Savoia on the rudder and black fasces on the wings

Hi, well there were many variations of insignia and I decided not to include the fasces.

We don't usually go for Fictional Repaints but your Livery is very tempting.
Lovely Work ! Would you consider making some actual reproductions please.
Kind Regards from us.
