The Hidden Splendor runway in Utah is oriented north/south with 1000 ft. cliffs and the Muddy Creek skirting the west side. Regular visitors to the strip include members of the Utah Back Country pilots association.
The airstrip is located on a small plateau with steep drop-offs very close to each end of the runway and along the sides. There is a chance of seeing vehicles in the area so please be careful on the approach
The 1900 foot runway is hard packed dirt with a slight slope to the north.
