Freddie Laker unveiled his Airline to the press in 1966, with two former BOAC Bristol Britannia's, they were eventually replaced with BAC One-Eleven 300's in 1967. Laker Airways were later known for operating the McDonnell Douglas DC10 with the livery 'Skytrain' you could say that Sir Freddie Laker was one of the first to offer a 'No Frills, Low-Cost Transatlantic service from London to New York.

Although the Airline did operate the Boeing 707-200 as well as an Airbus A3oo, in 1982, however, later in February 82 it was over for Laker Airways. I have fond memories of flying out of Gatwick in a DC-10, so thought it only fitting to paint the A320 Neo in the original Skytrain paint scheme. Enjoy.
