This is a Metar lookup app created for windows. You can enter an airport code and it will give you the raw text of the metar report and it will also parse out the individual components to make it easier to read.
ATIS lookup for major USA airports has been added. Unfortonately I have not been able to find an online API for worldwide airports. If anyone knows of one, please let me know.
Note:
1. This is for REALTIME weather and ATIS only.
2. Use ICAO codes only.
3. ATIS is for major USA airports only. See my note above.
Installation:
1. Unzip Metar Lookup folder on your computer.
2. Execute the MetarLookup.exe file to run the app.
Updating:
1. Delete your existing Metar Lookup folder.
1. Unzip Metar Lookup folder on your computer.
2. Execute the MetarLookup.exe file to run the app.

The App seems not to be working the last two days. I can get departure and arrival information but not the conditions. I assumed it may be temporary, so I have been waiting. I would add an image if I could, but that would need to go through a private message.
Thanks

Some webbased Metar utilities:

It will be nice if the program remembers the choice of the DARK MODE and stays in dark mode when the program is opened next time.

What's that? In "my" Metar Lookup is shown at Altimeter "29734253 inHg / 1006917770 QNH".
I think, it should mean "2973 inHG / 1007 QNH". Is it only a problem on my system?

When you run the *.exe then it tells you to "install or update .NET to run this application ... would you like to download it now?"
Not sure if I should with Win11x64 that is up to date?

I packaged it with the .net 6 framework but looks like it doesn't "see" it. I will republish it tomorrow to resolve. Otherwise you can install the .net 6 framework separately and it will work.
